Invercargill
Invercargill is New Zealand's southernmost city, with wide streets, Scottish heritage and flat Southland plains all around. Use it as a base for Bluff oysters, the long sands of Ōreti Beach and ferries to Stewart Island / Rakiura. From here, roads run toward the Catlins, the coast and some of the country's biggest horizons.
